Dr. Steven M. Mintz, aka Ethics Sage, Available for Interviews and Speaking Engagements
Steven Mintz received his doctorate from The George Washington University. Dr. Mintz is a Professor of Accounting, specializing in ethics and international accounting, in the Orfalea College of Business at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He currently serves on the Ethics Education Committee of the California State Board of Public Accountancy.
Dr. Mintz enjoys an international reputation as a leader in academic accounting ethics. His co-authored textbook titled Ethical Obligations and Decision Making in Accounting: Text and Cases (2nd edition) is published by McGraw-Hill Irwin. It is used by 40 colleges and universities in the U.S. and around the world. Dr. Mintz has published more than 20 research papers in accounting and business ethics. He has written about and made dozens of presentations to professional, academic groups, and civic organizations on topics as diverse as the loss of civility in society, the declining work ethic, declining educational achievement, sexual harassment in the workplace, workplace ethics, virtue-based character, government ethics, business ethics, and fraud.
Dr. Mintz has written opinion editorial pieces for major publication outlets and was recently interviewed for a N.Y.
